Dr Kate Bexley  (Founder and Clinical Director)

Kate is a qualified and registered Counselling Psychologist (DPsych) and Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (CBT; PGDip, PGCert). She is also a trained Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapist, and Interpersonal Therapy (IPT) Therapist. Kate has over 14 years’ experience assessing and treating different client groups with psychological difficulties, in the NHS and Non-profit organisations, both in the UK and overseas. She is particularly passionate about helping those with low self-esteem, anxiety-related difficulties and depression using a blend of CBT, Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and EMDR.

Ashely Yarwood 

Ashley has a Masters in Counselling Psychology, is a Qualified CBT Therapist, an experienced Counsellor, and also holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Psychosynthesis Leadership Coaching. She has been working in the field of mental health for just over 10 years. As Ashley has also undertaken further training in ACT, CFT and Mindfulness, she is highly capable of adapting her approach to best suit you and your needs.

Umberto Crisanti

Umberto qualified as psychologist in 2004 in Italy and trained for a further 4 years and qualified as Cognitive Constructivist Psychotherapist. He then moved to the UK and trained to become accredited as a BABCP Psychotherapist and Supervisor. Umberto has over 16 years’ experience in mental health. He has trained in a broad range of therapeutic approaches, and his extensive studies have enabled him to create a flexible style of working to meet individual client needs, making use of Integrative Counselling, CBT, ACT, CFT and Mindfulness.

Helan Gidley

Helan is qualified CBT Therapist and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) Therapist. She has also undertaken further training in Enhanced Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT-e), an effective treatment for eating disorders. Helan has over 25 years Mental Health experience in the NHS in both adult and children’s mental health services. She has extensive experience in assessments and in offering a range of treatments for complex mental health difficulties, depression, anxiety, emotional, developmental and psychological disorders. In addition to being a qualified therapist, Helan has core profession as a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN).
