Psychodynamic Psychotherapist Therapist and Counsellor

Premila is a qualified and accredited Psychodynamic Psychotherapist Therapist and skilled Counsellor. She is an incredibly warm, patient and sensitive therapist who has been helping people understand and better manage mental health difficulties for over 16 years. 

Premila is BACP accredited having achieved her Advanced Diploma at Counselling with University of Cambridge. Her training, theoretical background and practice is rooted in Psychodynamic discipline where the focus is mainly on the unconscious relationship patterns that have evolved since childhood. She also draws on other therapeutic methods, including CBT, Brief Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy and Narrative Therapy, as well as Imago Therapy, mainly with Couple’s work. As well as working in private practice, Premila also currently works for the NHS within GP surgeries

Premila tailors her approach for each individual to ensure your unique needs are met; she is dedicated to ensuring empathic listening without judgement whilst providing a professional and confidential service.
