What is Depression?
Depression (also known as Depressive Disorder) is mood disorder that affects how you think, feel and act. When experiencing depression, you may feel sad, down, depressed, hopeless and as though the things you used to enjoy no longer give you any pleasure. While many of us feel sad in response to the challenges that life throws at us, with clinical depression, these symptoms tend to persist for longer than two weeks. When this happens, it may be time to seek help.
