Andrew

HCPC Registered Psychologist and CBT Therapist

Andrew is a chartered (BPS) and registered (HCPC) psychologist with experience in the NHS and as clinical manager with a leading private medical insurer. Qualifying in 2007, Andrew specialises in helping those with a wide array of anxiety related difficulties, with low mood /depression, stress and low self-esteem. Andrew’s main therapy model is CBT, which emphasises the development of understanding and change within a timeframe, usually around 8-12 sessions. CBT encourages collaboration, which allows a team approach to tackling problems. Active participation on your part, through homework tasks set between sessions to apply what is learned in therapy to everyday life, is an important part of the therapeutic process.

While CBT is his main approach, Andrew’s extensive clinical training enables other types of therapy to be applied or recommended, approaches which are tailored to the unique needs of the client. With this in mind, the most appropriate modality will be honed for you or an onward recommendation will be advised to allow you to access whatever treatment is felt to be best suited to you.

Andrew offers remote treatment, which allows for flexible access to treatment, including evening appointments.
